As a charity, we work to bring about positive change to Irish habitats and wildlife species in Ireland through our research, awareness and education programmes.
We encourage and foster information sharing on how we can take positive action to help protect species and keep our environment healthy and sustainable for present and future generations.
Our Ethos
We are fully committed to protecting and conserving the natural environment, as shown through many of our current and projects.
We believe every person can make a difference and we recognise the pivotal role our volunteers play.
Our Work
Nature Network Ireland has a team of enthusiastic volunteers from across Ireland, including Dublin, Galway, Wexford, Limerick and Kerry. We run projects, promotions, provide educational packs, undertake surveys, and submit to national bodies on important campaigns.
Our long-term projects are Beaumont Quarry, Otters, Valuing Insects, Restoring Nature, Climate Change, Citizen Science and our online Education Programmes.
Nature Network Ireland is a Registered Company Limited by Guarantee wholly run by volunteers. It is a not-for-profit organisation that complies with the Charities Governance Code. Document reference number CE CDE 8.2.1.
