• When registering as a member : e-mail address, name and location. We do not collect your payment data (card numbers). Payment data is processed by the payment gateway Stripe. The data is not displayed to us.

Nature Network Ireland collect anonymous demographic information using Google Analytics.

The information we collect is used to :

When registering as a member : to record your subscription for legal and financial purposes, to send you membership renewal notices, to send you electronic newsletters and updates. Membership renews automatically on the anniversary of registration. Automatic renewal can be cancelled by opting out through your membership profile on the website.

Data associated with your membership and/or any financial transactions will be stored by CNN for 6 years in accordance with legal obligations. Data is stored on a secured server.

When registering for an event : We (or our ticketing agent) may contact you regarding that event only if there are changes in event detail or booking details.  Data is stored by the event officer and our ticketing agent. Data may be collected from events that will be used for monitoring or analytical purposes only. Our current ticketing agent is TicketTailor www.tickettailor.com 

When subscribing to email list: your information is shared with Mailchimp our email automation platform www.mailchimp.com.  CNN typically use Mailchimp to send you information about the organization (events, meetings, fundraising initiatives, help needed for an event…), to inform you about online species surveying opportunities, online petitions, environmental issues in Cork and Ireland, and other environmental matters. Nature Network Ireland may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered and to assist in the future development of the organisation.

Data is stored by the Mailchimp platform until you unsubscribe using the link provided in any email.

Your data will not be transferred to any other third parties without your consent.

Right of Access to Information

Every subjects of personal data held by Nature Network Ireland have the right to access any personal data that is being kept about them.  You have the right to alter and rectify that information to ensure we have it accurate, complete and up to date.  You have the right to request that the information held be erased if you no longer want to receive or support our services.
